Germarel is a producer and manufacturer of advanced D-STATCOM systems in Germany, Europe. The system is a converter-based dynamic reactive power compensation unit designed to provide fast voltage stabilization, power factor correction, and grid support at the point of common coupling (PCC).

The STATCOM delivers continuous reactive power up to 1000 kVAr and supports both capacitive and inductive compensation (±Q), ensuring stable network operation under rapidly fluctuating load conditions.
Designed for low- and medium-voltage bus connections, the system operates with high-speed converter switching and automatic control logic that responds instantly to grid disturbances.
